Hi ALL,

It's Election Day and I hope you all go out and vote. I don't care who you vote for. It's just IMPORTANT that you do! Due to some, uh, mistakes in judgments on my part, I cannot vote (it was part of the plea bargain). Also if you don't vote, you have no right to bitch about how things work out. You know, things like smoking laws, taxes, war etc. So go out and use a RIGHT that we have that many people don't. Then come down to OTTO's and watch the results come in. Steve is giving FREE SHOTS for every state that KERRY wins. And if BUSH wins then it's going to be OPEN BAR for the rest of the nite.

HALLOWEEN was awesome this year. It's always been one of my favorite holidays. This year we partied at OTTO's with BANANA FISH ZERO, ELECTRAFIST, F.P.TOZ, BRUNCH OF THE LIVING DEAD, THE CHISELERS, ZACK MILLER and THE PAST. The "SOFA KING" WILDE JAM was joined this week by our favorite DJ: ROBERT LUND. Lundo lugged his keyboard into the city and jammed with JONESY and JESSICA (bass-playing hired gun). Jessica had just played on the previous Thurs. at TRASH with not 1, not 2, but 3 different bands in one nite. Every week the "SOFA KING" WILDE JAM brings a little something different. If you haven't expeienced it yet, come on down and check it out. It's a lot of fun.

The "12 DAYS OF WOOD" are upon us. A little explanation here: Every year for my birthday (11/11/55) I have a show to celebrate. I always say that I'm really lucky to have as my friends, some of the best and most talented musicians around. For my birthday they like to help me celebrate by playing at my party. Being as there are a lot of really good bands that my friends are in, it would be impossible to have them all play in one night. I'm also lucky enough to have built up good relationships with a lot of club owners (Thanks to the bands and the people who come to see them). Over the years my party has expanded from "A NITE OF WOOD" to "THE WEEK OF WOOD" to "10 DAYS OF WOOD" to, now, "THE TWELVE DAYS OF WOOD".
