Hi ALL,

The wedding of SAMI & KARMEN of MAD JUANA was a wild weekend. From the actual wedding, to SAMI laying with the NY DOLLS at Randall's Island, to the party with the open bar afterwards and then continuing the next night, as a bunch of friends went to OTTO's to celebrate the pre-honeymoon party that featured MAD JUANA, it was a GREAT BIG CELEBRATION. CONGRATULATIONS to the happy couple!

The 9/11 Benefit this year will benefit the widows and children of the fallen police and firefighters. THIS IS NOT a political event. It is to honor those that were lost and to show that we of the rock'n'roll/musical community appreciate the sacrifices that these people make everyday. The line-ups are being fine tuned and they'll be on the website soon.

This year we (KIPP ELBAUM & myself) will have two shows:

• One at the PUSSYCAT LOUNGE, in the downstairs bar. There will be no dancers on the downstairs stage, just bands. It will start at 2 PM and go till closing. KIPP will MC/HOST this one. There will be over 12 bands performing. There will also be a FREE BBQ.
• The other will be at UNION POOL in Brooklyn, with over 15 bands. Starting at 4 PM until closing. With me (FRANK WOOD) as the MC/HOST.

I may need some helpers on these. Contact me if you're interested.

Also, I have someone who will donate T-shirts to be sold to raise more money for the charity. I just need a good, simple design. I have Photoshop and one of these days I may eventually learn how to use it. In the meantime, I could use a little help. Thank You.

There are some new pictures up on my website, so check them out when you get a chance.

By the way, if anyone has any photos of the BANANA FISH ZERO/OTTO's/FRANK WOOD float at the MERMAID Parade this year, I would love to see them. With your permission, I will have them posted on the site and credit the photog. Also THE MIGHTY AFRODITE needs some shots to accompany her article in the next NY WASTE.

I'm still looking for an assistant to help out with clerical stuff and at the different shows. The pay isn't that great, but there are lots of outrageous perks! Contact me if you're interested.
